Medicine Courses - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a professional degree for medical science. The degree is an undergraduate course for becoming a doctor and a certified medical practitioner.
The duration of the degree is five year and six months duration including four year and six month for education programme and one year of mandatory internship at hospitals, health centers and health camps organised by non-profit organisations (NGOs). During the time of internship students can work with hospitals and healthcare centers as consultants, physicians, medical assistants in critical care units.
After completion of the internship, the students can registered as doctors with the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates need to qualify for the required entrance exam (NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER).
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level of degree with 50% from any recognized board in science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology/Botany with English as the main subject for their qualifying examination.
- Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years before seeking.
- Candidates belonging from the reserved category must have a minimum percentage of 40%.
- All candidates will have to fulfill the additional eligibility conditions mentioned by the regulatory authorities for Medical Council of India (MCI).
